Windows One Care Live launches

I wonder if it's as effective as the best programs that people are using right now.

No. The Anti-Spyware is still based off of Giant and it's inferior to Spy Sweeper & Spyware Doctor. The antivirus doesn't hold a candle to the dection rates of Kaspersky & Nod32.

It's designed for people that want an all-in-one solution, and for those that think that because it's MS it must be good.

I concur wholeheartedly. John knows what is up!

Why didn't MS just buy the companies that make Spy Sweeper and Kaspersky instead of buying crappy companies? :|

If they did that, then the good companies will eventually turn to crap anyway.

Actually, I remember GIANT AntiSpyware being ontop of the game before MS buying them.

Nah, I always thought Spy Sweeper was better.

Spysweeper may be one of the most annoying antispyware programs out there. Way too much tweaking for the average user to make it non-invasive while they're computing.

$50 for 3 PCs is actually pretty damn good. I haven't tried this yet, but i've been using the new Kaspersky Internet Security, and i love it so far.

$9.99 at Circuit City. I was all over this. Bought 3 copies.

That's a STEAL! This would be perfect for my mother. I already had her set up on the beta, I'll need to get this and install the full version for her.

It really isn't so bad.

It really isn't, but it isn't that great either...
