Windows NT workstation help

I just installed nt 4 on a dell latitude cpiR400gt. I'm having trouble with the video driver. I can't get it to work. I searched the dell site and downloaded that driver but upon unzipping the file, I get an error 5. I also tried different drivers but all have failed. Now, nt hangs after logging in. Any ideas?
