Windows NT, user name Y problem when creating application

Hi,

I am having the problem detailed here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q195956&
where the password for my IWAM_ account is out of synch with the metabase. I tried following the steps, but I still get User name Y when I create an application and it still doesnt work for me to run applications as another process.
