Is there anyway to install it without have to make those three boot disks? Every time I run the setup it has an IO error on the second disk and I can't do the setup. This computer doesn't have to option to boot from cd.

Well from what it sounds like you're trying to install it on a brand new system with no other OS running. I think the easiest way is to copy i386 folder from the cd to the hard drive. Then just run winnt.exe.

Nope, I had win95 installed on the system, and I did try to copy the i386 folder to the hard drive and it still asked me to make the three disks.

I installed win2k, put it's on a 120mhz machine so it's to slow for win2k and I wanted to try nt 4.

Hey Jsbush, sorry for not being clear. You will need to run winnt.exe with some switches. I can't remember all of the off my head, but the main one is /b this will tell it to run a floppyless install so it won't ask for the floppy disks. Just run winnt.exe /? and it will display all the switches available to you. Hope this helps

do you knwo if windows nt 4 server has terminal server, like win2k server?

Edit: Ah don't tell me you need windows nt TSE (terminal server edition) Stupid microsoft!
