Windows MPC-HC successor?

As the title asks. I don't see any point of using anything but the last release of MPC-HC 1.7.13, but still I would like to know if any development team has picked up the project and continuing the legacy of the player.

Thanks in advance, and pardon me if this has been asked before.

Have you looked at MPC-BE instead? It's a fork of MPC-HC but has a few extra features and an updated UI. I've been using it on my PC for years now and it runs great. 🙂

Does MPC-BE have audio pitch correction when the playback speed is changed from 1.0? That was the issue I had with MPC-HC, where some old 32bit addon had to be installed together with something else.

No, unfortunately there's no pitch correction with MPC-BE either. :/
