Windows Movie Maker & output

Recently while trying to edit some videos I've noticed the output image sizes are different after 'Save movie' This is even after making the files the exact same through making a matching custom profile. I checked the 'properties \ details' on the original file e.g. frame width, frame height, data rate, bit rate, frame rate, and created an exact profile and when the Windows Movie Maker is finished saving the edited movie file the movie looks smaller. Doesn't matter what type of file format either e.g. .MOV to mp4, mp4 to mp4, etc. ... still comes out smaller and I'm baffled on how to stop it. Any ideas?
