Hello I am having a problem with windows media server 9 which is setup to stream a channel from my ati tv wonder pci capture card. The problem is the fact that the video is outputed both onscreen inside the server viewer and via a client conection through media player, etc.
I'm runing windows xp pro and have no viruses or spyware according to avg, spybot s&d, ms antispyware. I allso have those apps all disabled when runing the server. Disable all other excess apps as well and removed items from startup with msconfig. Disabled the xp theme and uneeded services
my hardware is as follows:
AMD Palomino XP2100 1.73GHZ 266MHZ FSB 256KL2
Zalman heatsink(not sure what module exactly but a tank and keeps cpu cool never goes over 53F max load)
256MB PC 2100 Kingston RAM
512MB PC 3200 Cosair RAM
160GB 7200RPM 8MB Buffer Seagate HD IDE
ATI TV Wonder PCI
Creative SB Live 5.1 PCI sound card
Sony DVD/RW Drive
Any ideas? mayby on some posible settings tweaks in the streaming server, etc? or posibly a beter server for streaming video to windows media clients?
