Can anyone tell me how to erase your file history when you open up your windows media player and click on file. You have a history list and I need to delete it. Thanks

Just open up a bunch of MP3s - like 20 of them.

if you are really desperate to clean it up away from that pr0n you could always reinstall...

The Recent File list can be found in the registry under this location:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList]

Simply delete all the File# entries and you'll be good to go. You can also delete recent URLs under the same location, just change RecentFileList, to RecentURLList.
