There are a lot of versions WMP - I prefer Zoom Player where as others like BS or VLC player - Go figure how one configures a Media Player.

I think VLC will do the job
yeah for those who don't care about garbage quality. It's the worst player ever only used by people who are afraid to install a few codecs (not that MPC-HC needs codecs but it has some add-ons to improve the image quality)!


MPC-HC + LAV + madVR FTW!

Interesting - not one reply has answered OP's question. I will say, yes, WMP can be moved and registered to a different drive.
