Windows Media Player - Video disappears on repeat?

I'm using the latest version of WMP. I have it set to automatically repeat, but on full screen, when it reaches the end of the movie and repeats, the video turns black. Sound is still there, but video goes away. If i exit full screen it comes back.

Try turning down or off the video acceleration.

It is probably a codec that WiMP doesn't like very much in the first place. I'd recommend a different media player.
