Just recently my windows media player has stopped working and just loads IE popups. I am not the only person that this has happened to that I know. Everytime I get the popups I run adaware and remove winpup32 and it seems to be the culprit but it always seems to come back. Do any of you know a fix for this error and how to make windows media player work again? Thanks in advance

Ugh, that's a tough one. I had to remove it from a client's pc a while back. I don't remember the exact procedure, but google winpup removal (and check the groups as well), that's how I found the solution, it had to be manually removed.

i think those popups are embedded in the actual video file. I know a lot of porn has those embedded popups...damn annoying!
