Windows Media Player Error???

I had to post some video clips for a repair procedure and the files, .wmv, won't play in the standard windows media player, W2K OS. Here is error I get when trying to play the file from the hyperlink:

"Windows Media Player cannot open. You may need to reboot to complete installation of a downloaded component. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again. (Error=8007000D)"

Could you please help solve this problem?
