Windows media player and dvd regions?

I'm really confused about switching between regions on windows media player?

I want to be able to play region 1 and region 2 dvds on my laptop but someone recently told me that you can only change the region settings a maximum of 5 times? Is this true?

Is so is there anyway I can get around this?

I started using this a couple months ago and it works great to remove region coding on the fly (free version available):
