Windows Media Player 8 and Win 2k

Hello,
I've been using win xp, and am generally annoyed. I want to switch my main comp back to win2k, but one thing is stopping me. I've been using wmp8, and I've ripped 30gigs worth of cds. I found a rip of wmp8 that I can use with win2k (www.windowsxp.nu), but I can't use the windows mp3 plugin.

So what I'm asking is this: is there a workaround so that I can rip cds in win2k using wmp8?

Yes, I know I can use other programs- I want to use wmp8. Yes I know I can rip to wma, I want to use mp3.

Thanks much for the help,

Graham

Thank you,
but I already found a ripped version and am using it. What I'm looking for is help on using the mp3 pack with it. It won't install in win2k.
