Windows Media Player 11 xVid playback problems

Whenever I play an xvid-encoded .avi file in windows media player 11, it has very bad pixelating/bleeding. However, when I play it in creative media source, it plays back fine. I want to be able to play the videos through Windows Media Center (2k5), which runs off of windows media player "engine".

I have installed the xvid codec, as well as ffdshow and divx. I'm not sure what else I can do, am I doing something wrong?

(It also plays fine on VLC Media Player)

I would mainly just like to get the WMP player to play them back fine so I can make use of Media Center

Thanks in advance!
