I am thinking, because I have SO many songs, that when I load WMP10, it locks up my PC kinda sorta.. It takes a long time to refresh the song playing, and it lags when going song to song. The song actually plays immediately, but the WMP10 display doesn't update right away. This only happens when I have it in full screen mode, the minimized mode (when it displays in the taskbar) doesn't seem to stutter but then again, it doesn't display anything much.

I am curious to know whether WMP10 has a problem with big databases of songs, as I think this is my problem, and if there are any workarounds for it. I have something like.... 8GB of songs in the library, and it takes a while to go thru and use it. iTunes never had this problem but since I want to get a Creative Zen Micro... I need to learn to work with WMP10 🙂

I can't help you with your issue but I have ~19 GB songs and I don't have any issues with WMP10, either full or skinned mode.
