Windows media player 10 plays avi videos upsidedown.

I think that's why nobody's bothering to download Widows Media Player 10. I, personally, am sticking with version 9.🙂

Do the AVI videos use the DivX codec? This happened to be once with DivX, I went to divx.com and downloaded the latest codec pack, played the file and it was fine. If not, try reinstalling codecs from the Windows Media site (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia/).

Umm. I install the divx.com codec, and it works, but now there is "divx video" overlay on all my avis when I play them, which I don't much care for. Is there a way to get rid of that?
