If enough people demand it. Do you any of you guys think that Microsoft will bring back Windows Media Center for windows 10 as an "optional" download?

Thanks

No, highly doubtful. As much as I wish, probably not. Too few people are interested in buying TV tuners and using Cablecard, which is the best way to use WMC.

I am a bit surprised that MS didn't leave an option in the Store, but possibly they were using that to judge how many people weren't getting it, and decided that is wasn't worth the cost of keeping it.

Of course, if that's true, you could say that Windows 8(.1) was a horrible OS to run such a test, as Windows 10 already has over twice the market of Windows 8(.1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_operating_systems

One thing to note is that, with the new way Windows 10 updates (and the store), there is no reason that Microsoft couldn't bring back some form of Media Center, I just wouldn't bank on it.

Get people to leave feedback for W10, requesting it as a store app. Shoot, as a UWP, it would be great thing for the Xbox One as well.

At least then the people that want it can get it.
