Windows Media Center issues?

MCE.jpg = the video coming from Windows Media Center. It's the same quality even if I'm playing back a recording
videoredo.jpg = program I'm using to convert dvr-ms files to mpeg. It looks normal.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Gah, no, I never had that problem. What resolution are you recording at? That looks suspiciously like a de-interlacing problem with your MPEG-2 codec.
