Windows Media Center--Is there a services tweak guide? (tweaking for performance)

Just got a new comp and have like 40 services running in the background eating up RAM and CPU cycles. I would like to know which ones I can safely disable permanently. I know there was an XP Home services tweak guide a while back by Black Viper, and I'm wondering if he or anyone else has created an updated guide for Windows Media Center? I would like to turn off as much crap as possible to get a performance boost for gaming. Any help greatly appreciated.
 
if you google it, it will find a few links. One of them leads to BV, but it does not work. One of the links leads to Major Geeks. They have BV's services page saved.
