Windows Media Audio v8 codec

I would like to encode some video for my PocketPC (an old Axim X5) that runs WMP v8. In the past, I had the v8 codec installed on my computer so I was able to select that for the audio when using Windows Media Encoder, and it played fine. Now, I only have WMA v9 installed on my main PC, so my PocketPC won't play audio (video, encoded in v8, is fine).

Does anybody know if I can still get the v8 codec?

I know Divx is an option too but frankly I find the WMP solution a bit easier.

Looks good, but for some reason I still don't have anything other than v9 as an option in the droplist. I tried d/l-ing from a couple of other spots also - no luck. I know I used to be able to do it but since I rebuilt my box the option is gone. Oh well.
