just bought a new computer with windows me on it and when I test the directsound in directx 8.0a i get this message
soundcard device does not support hardware buffering only software buffering and I don't hear any sound but it shows as passing the test.
I have a GA-7DX system board with chipset AMD 761 with
VIA 686B with AC97 soundcard on board
this is the only place I don't hear sound when doing the test
suggestions ???
