Windows Me users. How do you get into the Bios?

BIOS of what ? the computer ? mobo ? hit <DEL> key on boot up, where the computer first starts..
 
The os has nothing to do with how you get into the bios. Most use DEL key to get into the bios. Compaq uses F11 or something.
 
Del for most. F1 for most Hp's. F10 for Compaq. Watch the screen when computer first boots up.. if logo screen comes up hit esc to see behind it. Then watch for something like &quot;hit **** key to enter setup&quot;.
 
yeah forcesho that is what I told him to do, hit the delete key, but he says that there is no point during the start up when you are supposed to hit it. so I told him to just hold down the delete key and he did that but he still could not get into the bios. the computer is an HP all the components i know of are a celeron 700 integrated video card and 64 megs of ram. I don't know why you would need that last part but I put it anyway 🙂
 
Was reading the sig, if it's asus it's <del> but it seems that everyone else is F11,F1, ESC, CTRL ESC, etc... but pretty standard is del..
