windows me to xp pro

Just wondering if anyone has had any success upgrading from me to win xp pro. Is there anything I should know or will the intall directions be enough

If it were me, I'd do a fresh install. Boot from the WinXP Upgrade CD-ROM and just show Windows Setup your WinME CD to show that you have a license for a qualifying previous version of Windows.

If you do a fresh installation of WinXP, take precautions against worm infection. Here's my 2¢ worth on that: link Hope that helps

I agree! Clean Install is the best.
