Windows ME Promo Upgrade

Hi,
I currently have win98se installed and want to upgrade to Me.
I want to do a fresh install after formating everything..
Can you do that with the Promo upgrade?? Or do I have to do it just over the top of the old one?
I can't see any reason why I couldn't, but I'm just making sure........

Yes, you can do a clean install. Before it actually loads WinMe it will ask for your Win98 cd. after that it will install WinMe Like it was a Full version.
