I have a PC with 128 RAM and Windows Me. The issue here is that in System information it says available physical memory, 368 KB or somtimes , 2 MB , or 3MB, all the varying but nit getting more than 3 or 4 , I want to know why is that.because my system is reaaly slow though there is 128 RAM in there.
I have not much application to occupiy the RAM.
Thanks

ME caused tons of problems when I used it (for a very short period of time, may I add).

AFAIK, it causes cancer.

After you boot and load ME, pop a Ctrl-Alt-Del and note how many programs are running behind your back. Only two are essential . . . Explorer and SysTray. The rest are fluff and convenience, but each one sucks up memory. Same with icons in the try. Everyone you have there eats memory.

The biggest memory eater is Internet Explorer 5 or 6 . . . every time you log on and off you use RAM and never get it back. It is a notorious memory leaker.

Ok I checked and I have 4 or five programs,But real problem is that I have upgraded to Me from 98SE and in 98 I had 86% resources free but here only 2 or 3 MBs.
So I think it should be Me problem.
Thanks for your advice.
