Dear Gentelmen & Ladies
Just recently I did a clean install of a dual boot system with Windows Me & Win 2k PRO and everything is working well with the exception of my USB Iomega Zip 250 drive it which shows up under device mgr but the software does not pick it up and it doesnt show up anywere else after fighting with it for hours upgrading and down grading software hours and trying to reinstall it thru add new Hardware I called Iomega and the tech support rep claims that the Iomega Zip 250 usb is incompatible with Windows Me and the VIA Tech 3038 PCI to USB universal host controller. If anybody can help me i would be greatly apreciated.
Here are some other things that I have tried
1.Downgraded the via drivers to the original that came with my board
2.down loaded and installed the usb filter driver from via web site.
3.Downloaded and installed the lattest 4 in 1 drivers from VIA web site
none of these things worked and the zip drive works awsome in windows 2k
