Windows ME; how to: modify/delete the splash / startup logo

anyone know? I really hate it it is worse than the old one:disgust:


I searched: splash, startup, & start up; before asking... I figured it would have been asked @ least a hundred times... each in a different thread

If it's the same as win98 it's in msdos.sys and you add the line

logo=0

You can modify like this.

You can use TweakUI to disable it altogether.

well... all i could fing was the logos.sys which I found by searching *.*sys and when the list appeared the other two weren't on it. And feret I have no idea how to do that I couldn't even find the file.

anymore suggestions??

make one of your own .sys and it'll over-ride the default setting.
