How do you permanently delete the config.sys file? I have tried deleting it the normal way several times but it keeps reappearing.

Also, I do like the system overall. The following is for information. The Win ME I am running is not the final version.

-The only problem I had with upgrading from WIN 98 SE was that ME kept trying to give me two keyboards. I finally had to delete both in the device manager just to get rid of the one keyboard.

-Performance. Didn't notice much of a difference due to my Win 98SE was running DX8 Beta 2 software.

-Overclocking. Whether it is because ME handles multimedia (games) differently or just all the new software or upgraded kernal, but I can't get my machine (PIII 700) to run QIII demo001 at 800Mhz which I had in Windows 98SE. So I had to bump the speed to 750Mhz.

Remember, there is no real-mode DOS for the config.sys, so whatever is in there may not even get read during boot.
