Windows ME and Auto fill ??

If I'm not mistaken there is a setting in Windows ME, for that matter all version, that allows you to turn off the feature that autofills the balnks when you start typing in a box. I also beleive there is a setting in IE that handles the same feature. If someone could please direct me to this I would greatly appreciate it.
