windows ME and ATI Radeon issues

Anybody out there having problems with installing The new Radeon 32meg DDR on Windows ME? I installed the driver and now all I get is A Windows protection error sytem halted must reboot.

I contacted Microsoft and they had me running aroud registry files and could not solve the problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
I was having the same type of problems with WinME and my Radeon 64 meg..... Updated Drivers would install but when i went to install the other software off the ATI cd it would reboot to protection error everytime.. This helped me decide to go back to Win98se. Also my system would randomly reboot w/WinMe.. After days of headaches it was time for a reformat and 98. 🙂

Good idea Jason. However i had thought of that all ready. No change
still get the Windows protection error. So far the only video card I have been lucky w/ME is the tnt2 card with generic drivers. And lets face it the tnt2 card compaired with some of the new products on the market. Well there isn't a comparison.
