Windows ME and 98SE on same machine?

I just bought a new HP laptop (PIII 600) which had Windows ME preinstalled. I have a Corel 9 presentation (slides and mpegs) that runs fine on a desktop with Windows 98 but comes up with an error on the HP laptop, Error is " Create mpeg32 task_cmd is not successful"
This error message comes up several times and then the program begins ok. Can anyone help with this problem? Also, can I also load the Windows 98 OS on this HP and still keep the Windows ME at the same time, e.g. have two operating systems on the machine at the same time and choose which one to execute during bootup. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks

you can by creating a different partition.........go to powerquest.com and get partition magic 6.0

you can do it using that prog (i don't think you need the pro version do it, but i could be wrong)
