Cheers for the link. I should be OK. Sounds just like XP Pro, just with some extra media features. I just didn't want to have my games run slower, thats all.
 
It is XP service pack 2 with extras for media center pcs. That's it. I'm running a very minimal installation of it (used nLite) and it runs very well.
