First the annoying problem

when i'm trying to boot up the computer it sometimes stops right before the window logo should appear.. and i have to restart/reset.. and sometimes i can do this 3-5 times before the windows logo post right..

funny thing is me and my friends have the same problem, we all have diffrent gear execpt two thing, memory (corsair valvue 1gb (2x512) & mobo: msi k8n neo platinum nforce3 250gb) i got the 754 board and they got the 939.

we all got high quaility psu's also atlest i think so. (i got Fortron/Source 400W rev2)

and let's jump to the next NEW problem

I can't play movies anymore, well yes i can but i only got like 16 (1,2,3,4,5... - 16) colors
or something like that. And yes i thought this to the drivers or something so i reinstalled them (with drivers i had before that worked flawlessly) and then i downloaded the newest ones from nvidia for my Gainward gs 6800gt and that didnt help. so then i thought it was a OS problem, since i haven't reinstalled it over 6 months.. so i did a reinstall and i still had the same problem. I even took out the gfx card and put it in again.. (yepp, that didnt help either =) )

the funny thing is also, when in dual view (monitor & TV) i can't get colors anymore in the TV it's just black & white..

so now i'm fearing that my gfx card is broken or something.. i would be glad if you guys could help me find atleast some solution to my problems.
