windows log in

How do I remove the windows log in that comes up when I boot my computer? I deleted all the users and i just want it to boot straight into windows.

Assuming u are on win98, goto control panel -> network -> change the primary network login to: Windows Logon -> reboot.

Doesn't work :(

I changed it to windows logon and it still did that. I am running windows ME, not that theres a huge difference from 98.

If you are on a network and you don't need the logon screen, then open your network properties, and select the TCP/IP option and go to bindings. Uncheck Client for Microsoft Networks and anythings else that may be in there. Again, delete all the .pwl files and reboot. If it asks you for a username again put in whatever and leave the password field blank and hit enter. That should take care of it.
