I just built my new rig (see sig). Initially, when Windows loaded it took about 6 "loading bar" pulses before it went to desktop and then started loading skype, other apps, etc...
Now, it takes 1.5 "loading bar" pulses(quicker), goes black, then desktop and skype takes awhile to load.
What is going on? It seems although a quicker windows load to desktop there are more things loading in the background at desktop.
I have seen this on many computers and have always wondered why it is different.
Any windows gurus know what's going on?
