Windows Live Mail Beta

Saw this on MSN today. I wonder if it'd be good enough to actually make me stop using Gmail + Outlook and just use Windows Live Mail web interface instead. No downloading emails anymore via POP3, 2 GB of storage, and an interface that resembles Outlook.

Thoughts?

Considering the blasted MSN site links aren't available 1/4 of the time, I sure as heck won't be using their email. And this coming from somebody who has friends and family working on the Windows Live team.

Gmail, in its purest form, IS webmail you know, right?

As for the outlook interface, that is subjective...

Yes I know that, what did I say that indicated otherwise? I only use Outlook with Gmail because I don't like the Gmail interface and label system and prefer using a program GUI.

I think the Outlook interface is pretty much the easiest to use and work with.

I think my OP made it pretty clear (not to get nasty with you 🙂), I use Outlook with Gmail because I prefer Outlook's interface over Gmail's. Windows Live Mail is tempting, however, because it DOES use an Outlook-like interface, and I wouldn't have to download via POP3 anymore, again, all of which I said in my OP. 🙂

Well it loads slow and I can't resize the frames in Firefox. In Opera, it always shows the classic look because apparently the code does not work with Opera.

I will just stick with the classic hotmail or the new classic look. It works well so why mess with it?
