I was attempting to install the Windows Live Mail program on my work computer using the Windows Installer. However, I received an error "Sorry, we couldn't install this program."

I have over 7GB on my C drive, which should be sufficient to install the program. I have cleaned out the temporary files.

Is there any work arounds?

Here is the help message from MS
Installation is unsuccessful
You may be unable to install Windows Live products if your computer doesn't have enough free hard disk space, if your firewall (A security feature designed to help protect a computer from unauthorized external access. It can be hardware, software, or both.) won't allow the installation, or if your system doesn't meet the requirements for the product.

Try these solutions in the order listed:

Check that you have enough hard disk space to install the Windows Live product.

Show me how
In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.

?or?

In Windows Vista, click Start, and then click in the Start Search text box.

Type explorer.exe, and then press ENTER.
In the left pane, click My Computer, right-click the drive that you want to use for the installation, and then click Properties.
Make sure that you have at least 100 MB of free space on the drive.

If your computer has a firewall, make sure that the firewall is set to allow the Windows Live website. For more information about your firewall settings, see your firewall's documentation or website.
Clear your temporary files and folders.

Show me how
In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.

?or?

In Windows Vista, click Start, and then click in the Start Search text box.

Type cleanmgr, and then press ENTER.
When Disk Cleanup scanning has finished, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the following options:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files
Temporary Files
Temporary Offline Files
Offline Files
Click OK, and then click Yes.
