I boot up... turn on AIM and MSN and I'm at 66% resources, I'm on windows ME KOR, ME's always been bad with my memory but lately its been worse, tried msconfig turned almost everything out of startup... but the memory just leaks... could it be a hardware issue? anything else I can try? I reformatted about 3 months ago... i leave msn zone on for about an hour and I'm getting in the 8-15% resource range .... any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

oops! forgot to even say my ram, etc.... its a T-Bird 1.33, 384MB ram, one crucial 256 and one mushkin 128, both running @ cas 2-2-2

One of the programs you use or one of the programs windows runs leaks. The only thing you can do is not run it. But you already tried that. Maybe it's one of your drivers?

Have you disabled Indexing Service? If you are running a 9x based OS it doesn't surprise me that it's starting to go on you. Typically you need to reinstall those every 6 months to keep everything working 100%.
