Windows is so irritating when you can't organize folders by size

Rename the folders to their sizes, and they'll sort numerically.

I think it treats them as strings, so if you had 20 folders, it'd be like:

10
1...19
20

TweakUI has an option that it doesn't treat them as strings.

And anyways, to do what you guys suggested, I would have to first find out the sizes of the individual folders first. Which is not fun.

why the hell do you care about size of folders?

Because I want to organize my photos.

wouldn't organizing them by name, locatrion, or date make more sense? size tells you NOTHING about the content

You must be the guy at MS who said, "Yes, they can hover over the folder and see the size, but let's make it so they can never ever sort by size! No, I don't think they'll ever want to see which folders are the biggest! NEVER!"

You know what's more infuriating is when you're trying to copy large amounts of files over the network and it stops because a file name is too long, but it doesn't continue to copy the rest of the files. So, now since you don't know where it left off, you just have to start over... That's the worst especially if it took 20 minutes to get to that point in the first place, but now you have to rename the file and start all over again. I know there are tools that you can use to prevent that, but why isn't it just built into Windows in the first place?

Your life would be made easier if Windows Explorer showed folder sizes.

Yea...but folder sizes change, eventually.
