Windows is constipated

I was installing the Media-center software for the TV-Wonder and windows blue screened on me (Bad Pool Caller) and reset. Now the installation isn't complete, it won't let me continue, and I can't uninstall...
What can I do so that windows will poo out the crap so I can re-install it? Do I have to screw with the registry? Whattup?

And yeah, I hope this isn't a completely stupid question...

How about manually uninstalling? Meaning that you delete all files which have been installed so far (can be found in the install.log file which must be in the folder of the program you were trying to install) and use a program like RegCleaner (can be found at download.com) to remove all registry-entries which have been made so far, if any.
