Windows internet sharing problems

Ok to start off, I had 3 computers on my home network and was using Windows 98SE internet sharing software and everything was working fine. Then I took off the server and built a whole new computer and tried to use that as my server. I installed the software and made a client disk but when i tried to install it on the other 2 computers, I get "this program has preformed an illegal operation and then a box that says that this computer has restrictions on it. I think this is from it already having the client software on itfrom before but i'm not sure. Does anyone know whats going on?
