Windows Installer Problems

Hello

I have a problem with Windows Installer:

Until I get this fixed I cannot install any programs at all, Everytime I try installing something it keeps telling me I have another program installation - finish that one 1st.
Read the update I have towards the bottom of this message. Thanks..

Every time just about that I try to install a new program I get this message, This only happens to certain programs:

Here is the message I get:

Error 1500.Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one.

I cant find any installations that are running.. I am puzzled.. This has been going on for a few weeks now..

Any ideas are appreciated..

UPDATE:

Here is what is happening and causing the problem, But not quite sure how to fix it??

I do know what the problem is now

I uninstalled CA internet security suite on my PC, And something is going haywire with it from the second I uninstalled it.

I am getting these 2 Errors 1 of them when I turn the PC on or reboot

That error states: Error 2753 the file CAPFASEM.EXE is not marked for installation

When I try to reinstall CA internet security suite I get the Error W9027 unable to install the firewall, antispyware, and so on with the rest of the suite???

Thanks for trying. I tried to install it and got the error 1500 that I have another program installing. Finish that installation 1st. ALso I forgot to mention that when I reboot my PC windows installer pops up and trys to load something everytime. Not quite sure what it is.

msiexec.exe is the windows installer. If the system detects its running it thinks an install is in progress. Can you kill it and see if it will allow you to install
