Windows Installer Error.

For the last couple of weeks i've started to get this error message whenever i try to install programs. Click Me. Naturally this is starting to get VERY annoying. I'd really appriciate any help, cheers.

Aslo, try updating to the latest version of Microsoft Installer

Excellent thanks. I downloaded the Install Shield (7 in this case) first and ran it, and it told me that the windows installer wasnt running. So i grabbed the redistribute from MS website and when i went to install that it told me the service already existed. So i went to services and started it but got the same error from installshield. Finally got it all working by deleting the windows installer file, reinstalling it and then everything worked! Cheers OdiN. Am i right in thinking you're the same OdiN that i used to post with on the old FS Hardware board?
