Windows Installer Doesn't Recognize New SATA HD on Asus A8V board

I just built a new computer on a relatively old motherboard (an Asus A8V).

I planned to install XP Pro on one of two Western Digital 250 GB Sata Retail disks I bought.

At first the disks wouldn't even pass POST, but then I set the jumper to 5-6 to lock it at 150 MB/s like the Asus support page told me to.

Now I pass POST, but the Windows setup doesn't recognize any HDs.

What should I do?

You need a driver disk (read: floppy disk) with drivers for your sata controller. Insert the floppy after you start to boot off the XP cd. When Windows asks if you want to load any additional drivers, press the key (F6 is the key I believe) and select the driver off the floppy disk.
