We need more info on what Windows OS are you trying to install and what errors are you getting.

running W-XP Pro SP2. auto install startups up and then shuts down. My System Suite 5 update do error out

Do other MSI installs work fine? You havent mentioned anything specific that would make me believe that the Windows Installer service is where you should be focusing your efforts.

Have you contacted the application vendor regarding the errors you are seeing?

I did find out it was the Win installer 3.0 V1.0. I did get V2.0 to upfate and now all is well
