Windows installation

I have someone that needs to have Win98SE installed on their machine, but for some reason, we cant get it to run the installation (some fat32 fdisk problem).. Anyways, we brought the harddrive over to my machine, where we plan on installing win98 on it. My question is, will installing win98 on a second harddrive cause problems with my system on the other harddrive with Win98?

thanks in advance

if on 2 separate HDD.. it should cause no probs, i have done it before... its just like haveing to computer (sort of)...

but, why do it on your COmp?

just Fdisk, and Format that HDD and install 98 on it there 🙂? is that possible?

Word of warning, I'd take out your hard drive first if you're going to install win98se on his hard drive in your computer, because I don't think you'd appreciate accidently deleting all of your stuff 🙂

Secondly, are you sure the hard drive works???

Also, make sure you do C: format /mbr (i believe this is the command)

and then try it... (that is if you can get it to even recognize the hard drive...)

Its some stupid compaq computer and I went into the BIOS and it is so crappy. it says absolutely nothing about hard drives in it
