Windows installation problem

I recently bought a new ssd and was planning to install windows 10 but when trying to install it to the ssd (SanDisk 120gb) from a thumb drive the computer would stay at a screen with just the windows logo and would not change at all, I left it on all night and it was still stuck there. I'm not sure if it is the drive or the thumb drive or if the ISO was corrupted somehow. I would test the drive on another computer but I don't have a data cable or any desktop to plug it into. Thank you for your help in advance.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions quite yet, that the problem was a bad ISO. Will the hardware boot a Linux Live disc or USB? Is your hardware actually freezing up? (Is there a spinny thing on the screen? Does it keep spinning?)

How far along were you in the process? If it is stuck on this screen from the very beginning, make sure the computer is booting off your flash drive, and, as VL mentioned, that your ISO is good (try downloading another one).

Hardware was not freezing up, it was just stuck on the windows logo currently getting a copy of lubuntu that my buddy has to test. There are no other drives to boot off of. After fiddling around for awhile I discovered two problems: my usb drive is non-bootable according to both mac and windows disk utilities and part of the ISO was corrupted in the efi folder. Still unaware if the ssd is usable

Try to force the system to boot from your usb flash into uefi mode! You can boot from your install media in two modes: 1. legacy and 2. uefi.
I've encountered this symptom on some intel nucs. Basically, the connected usb devices(the usb mouse, in my case), was preventing the setup from advancing pass the logo screen each time I was booting the install iso in legacy mode. Booting the install media in uefi mode didn't had this issue.
