Windows installation problem

I just finished setting up my pc and now im trying to install windows XP.

Everytime i install windows XP using the recovery CD it just reboots and ask me to install again. Any ideas what's going on?

I'm installing windows on a newly bought 80 gb harddrive.

MIS new2 NF3 is the motherboard.

My PC also makes beeping noise when i turn it on. It only beeps once. Normal?

And for some reason everything seems slower then it was when i had it in my casing.

It takes forever to verify the DMI pool.

Im using my old parts to build my parent's PC. right below my name.

okay..i figured it out!

My hd was set at MASTER and needed to be slave.

lol none of what u say makes any sense at all and having ur hdd set to slave is wrong, it should be master.

Lol sorry. i didnt mean to say slave. i was in a rush.

For some reason it wasnt working when i had it set to Master. I had to set it to CS.
