Windows install fails while copying files

I'm having the weirdest problem.. I put together a new PC, Athlon 64, ECS mobo, SATA drives in RAID-1. When I go to install windows, I get copy errors when it is copying files after the formatting stage. It gets about half way thru, then gives a copy error on every file it tries to copy. I've tried two different CDs, tried installing without RAID setup, but i'm just out of ideas.

I had a similar problem with my last PC build. It ended up being a bad stick of memory. Removed it and all was better. You might try testing w/ memtest86 (though mine didn't test bad with it at all). If you have a couple of modules, you can try taking one out and seeing if it works better, and if not swap modules and repeat.
